Frequently Asked

▪ Q: How many abilities can a character have?
▪ A: Depending on the species, characters can have up to two main abilities, and two lesser abilities. A second main (depending if you have taken a major plot occupation or not), and a third lesser are available as upgrades in the shop.

▪ Q: What levels can my characters abilities be at?
▪ A: This is listed in the academy years thread.

▪ Q: Do normal non-power related schools exist?
▪ A: Shunojiski has basic elementary, middle school, and junior high schools up until they are fifteen and ready to learn about their abilities. Colleges for bachelor degrees and others are only located in the earth realm and are not a necessary requirement for this site unless it's for personal character development.

▪ Q: How does the schooling work for different species?
▪ A: Subhuman are the more common students in the academy. Tenkai have an easier time getting in the academy, and most Nephilims are able to get in also. Manor have a more difficult time enrolling into the academy, most of them infiltrate for education assistance on how to use their abilities by saying they are not Manor and instead, a different race. Though the academy is very prestigious and cautious of any known full purebred Manor, some do not slip by, however the majority of anyone seeking to go to the academy end up enrolling. Manor are more closely watched.

▪ Q: Does this ability do this?
▪ A: Take a look in the abilities thread. Each ability will take you to the Superpower Wiki, which will explain what they do, how to use the ability, and the limitations. Very useful information to know when choosing abilities and deciding how your character will use such.

▪ Q: How do Nephilim abilities work?
▪ A: Nephilims are very complicated when trying to figure out what they have. Depending on what kind of Nephilim they are, you would have to go back to each race description and put the pieces together. Furthermore, the species section has a guideline for the abilities that each race and sub race obtain. For instance, Pureblood Tenkai inherit two abilities already, one main and one natural lesser. Pureblood Manor inherit one main ability from previous generations, which can be anything, and two natural lesser abilities. If you make a Nephilim that is half Tenkai and half Dark Tenkai, which is about a quarter of Manor and more than half Pureblood Tenkai, this would mean your character has the possibilities of inheriting all sorts of abilities from each parent. ▪ Q: Traveling outside Shunojiski, how does that work?
▪ A: There is an in depth description of how that works in the portals thread.

▪ Q: Do Manors inherit abilities?
▪ A: As seen in the species thread, inheritance of abilities is quite common.

▪ Q: How do Subhumans die from HumanxManor stealing their abilities from others?
▪ A: These types of Manor are very vulgar and violent when it comes to seeking abilities, whether from their own kind or from a Subhuman. Typically, they sink their teeth into flesh (visible teeth only belong to defective Manor and Human x Manor sub-species), puncturing their veins. Depending where they bite, they could either die instantly, or live as a defective. Manor have the natural ability of blood flow vision, which enables them to see the veins of others, thus helping them greatly. Pureblood Manor have the same capabilities, but are less likely to succumb to their desires, given their lineage, though there are some out there that desire more abilities (in which case, for plot purposes, please seek admin attention first before creating a character such as this.)

▪ Q: Are Tenkai wings visible to the eye?
▪ A: Barely. They are only fully visible in the Tenkai realm. When Tenkai are seen flying in Shunojiski, they are seen with light colorful waves that swirl around their bodies in the shape of wings.

▪ Q: Are Tenkai exposed to any sort of technology?
▪ A: The older generations of Tenkai that were born in the Tenkai realm before the massive collapse were hardly exposed to any technology. However, Shunojiski's influence has provided massive exposure to the newer generations of Tenkai and Nephilim alike after the portals were officially opened and the Tenkai realm was fully operable. Current Tenkai that have not been exposed to the Shunojiski realm may not be aware of the ever growing state of technology, but the Tenkai realm is slowly adapting to the evolution, though not fully.

▪ Q: For Tenkai not living in the Shunojiski realm, do they have their own teachings or schools in their realm?
▪ A: Tenkai do indeed have their own teachings and ways to educate their own kind, without the need of the Shunojiski realm, as they are extremely religious and dedicated to their angelic ways of living. Because of such, natural born Tenkai that are born within their own realm are brought up with their teachings, but they are also given the choice of deciding their children's education by allowing the parents to decide if they should learn about their abilities within the Shunojiski realm or not. All depends on how you would like your character's history to shape their personalities.

▪ Q: Can I change my character's race, upgrade for more powers, or change my face claim?
▪ A: To be fair to everyone else, yes you may change your character, and add additional abilities (depending on race), but you would have to purchase the chance to do any of these sorts of things. Please visit the zen shop to get started.

▪ Q: I'm confused about the events of this plot. What happened?
▪ A: You will find your answer in the Shunojiski History thread. All important events and past plots that have affected the current plot of Shuno is located there for your convenience and will be updated accordingly after every major plot shift, or event.
