RULES OF CONDUCT
▪ PROBOARDS TOS: Please be aware that this is in effect here at all times and it's mandatory to follow.
▪ THE GOLDEN RULE: Respect everyone and all staff. It's as simple as that. If you're conflicting with another member, you may notify a staff member. Respect also means no plagiarizing anything from this site. This includes templates, posts, skins, images, etc. Content creators are to contact myself if there is a crediting issue. Otherwise, plagiarism will not be tolerated. Please inform a staff member if you find anything that is plagiarized so we can address the issue accordingly. Spamming is also not tolerated anywhere on the site.

OOC RULES
▪ FACE CLAIMS: All characters must have an anime/manga/game face claim. If you need face claim help, there's plenty of resources that can help you, or just ask one of us. Anyone wishing to use original artwork must make sure to credit the original owner (unless it's your artwork) within the application and face claim. We will not tolerate any plagiarism.
▪ ACCOUNTS: First and last name of your character must be in your display name. We are a one character per account site, for ability upgrades and other purposes. As of now, OOC accounts are not allowed.
▪ ACTIVITY: All members should be relatively active here. This means at least two posts a month. I know lives are more important and do my best to accommodate everyone, so all I ask is at least a couple posts a month to maintain activity! Inactive accounts after 2 months of no activity will be removed unless notified prior. If you are removed from the site, you may rejoin when you are able to be active. Activity checks may be given throughout the year, but it will be announced prior to being released.

There is no need to be pressured into making a discord account if you don't have one, we give the same love to the Shunosaurus cbox as well. All general rules apply to the cbox as well, such as: no spam, no advertising, no drama.

▪ CHARACTERS: You are allowed to create up to ten characters at a time. If you'd like to have more, you may purchase a character spot in the shop. As a reminder, there is a character application walkthrough for your convenience to read over if you do get stuck, of course the admins will be here to help you as well. We reserve the right to deny any characters, but just know that we don't mean anything malicious about it.

▪ Liquid time is allowed on this forum, however it is encouraged to only start or join threads you intend to remain active in. Please do not leave someone hanging because you are caught up in another thread that gives you "more" muse. It's not entirely fair to the other person.
▪ We get how some characters may intrigue you, but please do not become possessive of another role player and their characters, or character in question. This means joining in every single thread they are in, harassment, and/or trying to force a relationship between them. If someone does not want to role play with you or have any relationship with your character, you are to respect it.
▪ With the Proboards TOS in mind, mild forms of drugs, nudity, mental health and alcohol is permitted, but PLEASE keep in mind that your threads will be monitored and required to edit if there are any violations. so that our site does not get taken down!

▪ All characters are based on the specified species that are inhibiting this role play. Please use your best judgement when creating your character. if you need help or some clarification, please notify a staff member!
▪ There is a reason for limited starter abilities for each species and sub-species, partly because of their genes. We want to keep the site balanced with fewer powerful individuals (NPC or leaders) in the mix for the plot. With that in mind, if your character is in the first year of the academy, your character's knowledge of abilities are at a beginner level, and so on. More information on this topic is located in this thread here.
▪ Characters that are made as a Yokai must be approved by staff prior to creating the biography, as there are many yokai that exist in folklore and would be cumbersome to explain each and everyone one in one thread. Staff will work with you to determine the best possible way a certain yokai of your choice will work with the site, as adjust all abilities as needed. There is a yokai claims list in the directory that is required to be replied to after choosing one. There will be some yokai that are not allowed on the site, but prior discussion can solve any issues with certain powerful yokai, as all yokai are able to be toned down and adjusted accordingly with the plot of this site. So be sure to choose wisely as there's many out there!
