If there was ever a time where Maki didn't start any trouble, the world would be hella boring.
There she was, skipping down the slums of the southside with her protruding tentacle blades thrusting at some criminals that said a bit too much for her liking. One thing to note about her, is that saying the wrong thing to her face will likely cause her to react without thinking, which was exactly what happened. All they had to do was give her what she wanted. But no. They decided to get defensive.
So she took their money.
Was that a bad thing? Probably, but they were criminals. The likelihood of them actually needing it more than she did was slim to none. Not that she was any better, of course.
"You've got some nerve attacking a lady, scumbags!" She used her blades to give her momentum through the alleyways, latching them onto the sides of buildings to lift her from the ground as she moved swiftly between obstacles. About three or four of them chased her through the slums, using their abilities to try and capture her while she moved. Though their abilities were not useful or benefited them in any way trying to do so, a fireball lashed out a few times at her, only to get swatted away by any obstacles or her blades retracting from behind her. Eventually she was able to get away from them once she used her blades to scale a large sketchy building and out of their radar.
"Hah. They'll be back, but-" She held up the briefcase in her hand. "Least I did my day's work. Momo would be so proud of me." she snickered, clutching the case in her hand like her life depended on it. From whom she has stolen the money from, she wasn't completely sure of them. During briefings, Maki either pays attention or she doesn't. However, the criminals that chased her for a long while had seemed to be some guys in business suits working for god knows who. Could they have been important people? Well, who knows. The briefcase must have thousands of zen in there, and that's all she cared about. "Now to get bac-" Her words were cut short as one of her blades lost grip on top of the building that she was on, which happened to be the warehouse of the organization that she was a part of. It gave way and caved inwards, since her blades were sharp and broke through some of the cement and metal that was holding the building together.
"Oh fuck!"
Surely, everyone had heard her crash and fall through a small portion of the warehouse roof. Metal crashed right through to the floor, which was in the middle of the back of the warehouse. Shard of glass and whatever else was stationed on top of the roof had fallen with her, and she used her blades to make sure she didn't plummet to her death by grappling the ground before she were to touch it, along with a loud yell.
"Ugh what the actual fuck, man." She lowered herself down to the ground, not really knowing if anyone was even present at the warehouse at this time. It was rather quiet, but she also didn't find herself around the organization as often as she wanted to. Maki was out doing what she did best to get what she wants and to please that certain someone who she hopes will marry her one day. Sighing, she stretched. "Damn. Don't think I'll get away with this one." Noticing that no one was around where she was, she headed out towards the main quarters of the warehouse where most of the people of the organization were, and busted through the door by kicking it open a tad. "Heyo! Who is here?" she shouted obnoxiously through her neon face mask, clutching the briefcase in her hand as her gold bracelets on her wrists chimed together. She had a bit of debris on her bomber jacket, some dirt clinging onto her pants leg, but her plan was to ignore the fact that she crashed through the fucking roof and pretend it didn't happen.
